Winners and finalists of the Oasis Awards will be honored at The Well Conference, where one winner in each category will be announced. With a commitment to publish your winning manuscript with The Well Publishers, first place winners in each category will be awarded a prize of $500 towards your publishing needs. Our team knows that most publishing projects require more than $500 in services, so we want to help you make a dent in the costs with this prize. The Well Publishers will meet with you for a consultation to answer your questions and best meet your publishing needs.
You may enter works in each of the categories. Should you submit multiple entries, please use a separate form with a $40 payment for each entry.
Only those who follow the full submission guidelines will be considered:
- Submission must be an unpublished work, fiction or nonfiction
- Must be supplied as a PDF, double-spaced
- Must be submitted no later than 3/01/2025
- Must be at least 50pp and include an outline for the rest of the book
- Final work must be at least 100pp when completed
- Any illustrations or graphics must be supplied. If an illustrator is needed, we can provide a referral.
- Winners must submit the finished manuscript and be ready to proceed with publication no later than March 1st of the year following notification of winning the prize.
Note: The $500 prize toward the total publication cost with The Well Publishers will be awarded to first prize winner(s) only. No monetary equivalent will be given as the Oasis Award prize is for the sole purpose of publishing. If the manuscript is not finished by the deadline or an award winner decides not to publish with The Well Publishers, the $500 publication prize must be forfeited and the author will be responsible for all costs incurred for services provided by The Well Publishers up to that point. The winning manuscript will be reviewed for editing needs, and if editing is required, The Well Publishers will match an editor with the author. At that time, an agreement will be signed between the author and The Well Publishers. Authors are encouraged to provide input on cover and interior design but must use TWP designers.
