Former newspaper columnist Jeanette Levellie moved from L.A. to southern Illinois in 1999 with her pastor husband, Kevin. Surrounded by corn and soybean fields, Jeanette relishes waking to birdsong and watching squirrels and chipmunks play in her backyard. She loves spring, summer, and fall. Her relationship with Jesus and her family are the center of Jeanette’s heart. She has one husband, two grown kids, three grandchildren, and four spoiled rotten babies disguised as cats. Jeanette is the author of six books and hundreds of published articles.
She is also an ordained minister, and travels near and far to share her (often hilarious) experiences walking with Jesus. Her favorite book of the Bible is Colossians because it resonates with the deity of Jesus. Her hobbies include watching black and white movies, gardening, and reading novels to escape housework.
