Cherri Bornman is a worship leader, speaker, author, and visionary creative with over 30 years of ministry experience. She is the founder of Welcome to the Table, a movement that empowers women to live missionally and create spaces of belonging, healing, and discipleship beyond the walls of the church.
A worship leader and ministry builder at heart, Cherri has a unique gift for helping others launch new ministries, retreats, and creative projects from the ground up. She inspires artists, speakers, and musicians to bridge creativity and calling—turning ideas into Kingdom impact.
As an educator and artist, Cherri teaches piano, voice, and choir to more than fifty students through her private studio, Cherri’s Heartsong Studio. She also partners with Michigan Arts Access, Fellowship Baptist Academy, and Community Church: Alma to nurture creativity and worship in her community. An active musician and actor with the Gratiot County Players, Cherri believes creativity is both a calling and a lifestyle—an overflow of worship expressed in every area of life.
Through her devotionals and interactive workbooks, she weaves together worship, story, and Scripture to guide women into deeper connection with God and one another. Her messages help leaders move from striving to abiding, from burnout to overflow.
Cherri lives in rural Michigan with her husband of 26 years, Cornelius, and their three daughters.
