Friday night at The Well is The Celebration of the Arts and Reception, which is a huge opportunity for all creatives. It is basically a time where we celebrate the gifts God has bestowed on all who attend.
Each person, faculty or attendee, is given a maximum of 10 minutes to show their talent to their peers. This is a form of worship. It is not a “see what I can do” time, but a “see what God can do” event. Also, it is an opportunity to be encouraged by all to keep going on the path God has set before us.
Examples of what can be displayed on stage are a reading from a writer, a talk by a speaker, art by an artist (could use PowerPoint slides if necessary), a scene by an actor or actors, or other talents we may not know about such as singing, spoken word, and more. The Well is a safe place to do this. There will be no critique … only celebration and worship.
