Ann Byle is a freelance writer living in Grand Rapids, Mich. She writes for Publishers Weekly, Christianity Today, Grand Rapids Magazine, and other outlets, and is the author of “Chicken Scratch: Lessons on Living Creatively from a Flock of Hens.”
