Megan Ryan

Volunteer Coodinator

Megan Ryan is a freelance copyeditor and proofreader who helps authors feel confident about sharing their writing. She has edited more than 160 books for self-publishing authors and hybrid publishers since 2018.

After majoring in journalism and minoring in English and anthropology, Megan was a newspaper copyeditor for three years. While she also edits articles and shorter pieces, working on books (and getting to read them before anyone else!) is her favorite editing task.

Outside of work, Megan is a wife and mom of three who loves holding babies in the church nursery. Her family lives in West Michigan, so the Well Conference is close to home as well as close to her heart. She is excited to be the volunteer coordinator after two years of attending and volunteering at the conference. Her goal is to give volunteers a wonderful experience as they help the event run smoothly.
