A life-long reader and writer, Karin wrote a novel in 2007 after her husband’s cancer diagnosis. As she pursued publication she realized the truth—she knew nothing about the publishing industry. That realization started a five-year education that birthed a love for writing and editing. Along the way she met copywriting, and she was hooked.
Courtney Lasater is the editor of the Keys for Kids devotional, a daily devotional for kids ages 6-12 that is published in print, audio, and online/app formats. She graduated from Calvin College and has over a decade of experience in Christian publishing and retail.
